Staff networks

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment by striving to build a workforce which is valued and whose diversity reflects the communities it serves. We believe that this commitment will lead to improved services for our patients and greater equality in opportunities for our people.

Our staff networks meet bi-monthly and offer advice and support to colleagues. The networks also help to shape and contribute towards the Trust’s equality and diversity agendas.

Network meetings are open to all colleagues, and we actively encourage allies to join (allies are colleagues who believe everyone should experience full equality in the workplace).

Kind, Connected and Bold Awards

Our monthly awards programme recognises more colleagues, volunteers, and charity supporters than ever before.

Individual winners receive a framed certificate, an award winner pin badge and a £25 Amazon voucher. Team winners receive a framed certificate, pin badge and hamper of delicious goodies.

Employee Service Awards Scheme

The Employee Service Award Scheme recognises and celebrates our colleagues’ dedication and commitment of service to the Trust and the NHS.

The Trust values the contribution of all our colleagues and the award scheme celebrates 5, 15, 25 and 40-year milestones of aggregated NHS service.
